It took longer than usual, but Microsoft has finally pulled the curtain back on the new Xbox Game Pass games that subscribers can expect in the first two weeks of April 2022. Microsoft has already added a couple of new Xbox Game Pass games for April 2022, giving subscribers access to sports games Cricket 22 and the brand-new MLB The Show 22 earlier this week. Now Microsoft has added even more to the Xbox Game Pass lineup.
The headlining new addition to Xbox Game Pass is day one game Chinatown Detective Agency, a new point-and-click adventure game that's set to be available across consoles, PC, and the cloud. In the meantime, there are some early Chinatown Detective Agency reviews out, and it's had a mostly mixed response so far. There has been praise for its visuals and noir story, but it seems that some reviewers have found the game frustrating and hampered by technical problems.
First Xbox Game Pass Title Confirmed for May
The nice thing about being an Xbox Game Pass subscriber is that anyone on the fence about Chinatown Detective Agency can try it out without making a big financial commitment. Even though it's a brand-new release, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play Chinatown Detective Agency for no more than what they pay for their Game Pass subscription. And if one makes sure that they are regularly completing Xbox Game Pass quests and the like, they may be in a situation where they aren't paying for it at all. In any case, Chinatown Detective Agency isn't the only addition to the Xbox Game Pass lineup in April 2022.
