April 2022 is nearly at an end, but that doesn't mean the new Xbox Game Pass additions are slowing down. Microsoft has added two more games to the Xbox Game Pass lineup as of Tuesday, April 26, and there are plans to add even more new games to the service later this week.
As of Tuesday, April 26, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can check out 7 Days to Die across PC, cloud, and consoles, as well as day one game Research and Destroy on consoles and PC. 7 Days to Die is an interesting addition to the Xbox Game Pass lineup for a couple of different reasons. For one, the survival game has managed to develop a dedicated following of fans despite earning scathing reviews, and for two, the Xbox and PC versions are different.
Xbox Game Pass Confirms Day One Release for June 2022
Due to publishing issues, 7 Days to Die on Xbox consoles is outdated, having received no new updates since 2017. Conversely, the PC version of 7 Days to Die is completely up-to-date, and that is the version that subscribers can check out through PC Game Pass. PC Game Pass is a separate subscription, though, so anyone interested in playing the PC version of 7 Days to Die instead will either need a PC Game Pass subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Joining 7 Days to Die on Xbox Game Pass today is the aforementioned day one release Research and Destroy. Research and Destroy is a turn-based game where players research new technologies that they can use to fight back against «Supernatural hordes.» Research and Destroy supports both online and local co-op, so co-op minded gamers should definitely consider giving it a shot.
