Xbox Game Pass has shown no sign of slowing down. It’s been going hard all year, adding big hit after big hit since 2022 came around. This includes games like Mass Effect: Ultimate Edition, Weird West, Tunic, Life is Strange: True Colors, and much, much more. Microsoft is also set to reveal new games coming to the service at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on June 9.
On May 10, Xbox Game Pass added three new games to the service. These were This War of Mine: Final Cut, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition. Now, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have one more game they can claim today, May 12. It should be noted that the rest of May looks a little bare bones, but Microsoft is expected to reveal more games for the second half of the month soon.

Either way, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to claim NHL 22 today. Interested fans will need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription synced with their EA account, as a regular Game Pass subscription will not do. This is because, technically, NHL 22 is coming to EA Play, and EA Play is a perk for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Given Game Pass Ultimate combines the massive library, the benefits of Xbox Live Gold, and several other benefits like EA Play access, it’s just as valuable of a deal as base Game Pass.
