This under-development feature is none other than 'WhatsApp polls for group chats', WABetaInfo has confirmed. The polls feature is already available on other social media apps such as Twitter and Telegram. The feature is currently in the works and it is expected to make its debut in the beta version of WhatsApp, but users can expect it to be available soon on their devices. This will allow users to create polls within the groups on the related topics to the group.

Earlier, we only knew that WhatsApp will allow you to enter a question of the poll in your WhatsApp group along with 'Create' and 'Cancel' options. But a sneak peek into the feature by WABetaInfo suggests that the WhatsApp poll will make it possible to add up to 12 possible options for contacts to choose from.
