Motorola Moto Edge 30 launch date in India has been announced by the company. Dubbed as the 'world's thinnest 5G smartphone', the new device will make its debut on May 12. The company has released the teaser of the smartphone on e-commerce platform Flipkart. As per the teasers, the phone is likely to be 6.79mm thin and weigh 155gm. The company has further confirmed the new Moto Edge 30 will be fueled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor and a 144Hz refresh rate display. The Motorola Moto Edge 30 is set to launch in India on Thursday, May 12. The company will conduct an online launch event from 12 PM IST onwards. The smartphone will go on sale through Flipkart, Reliance Digital and other leading retail outlets in India.
Moto Edge 30 is expected to come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel that offers a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor and run on Android 12-based MyUX skin out of the box. It is likely to offer up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
In terms of camera, Moto Edge 30 is confirmed to ship with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the handset will feature a 32 MP front-facing camera.
The Motorola Moto Edge 30 is powered by a 4,020mAh battery supported by 33W fast charging technology. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C port, and NFC.
As per the Flipkart teaser, the smartphone will come with Dolby Atmos support and will be available in black, blue and green colour options.
