World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Season 4 End Date Suggests Dragonflight Pre-Patch Starts Soon
World of Warcraft just announced the end date for Shadowlands Season 4. Though it hasn’t been officially confirmed, the same date will almost certainly begin World of Warcraft’s Pre-Patch event for Dragonflight.
In a recent post on the Blizzard forum, World of Warcraft announced the final season of Shadowlands PvP and Mythic+ would be ending on October 25. The ending of the season means Mythic+ and PvP seasonal rewards, titles, and ranks will be finalized, and will no longer be available to earn.
New World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Codex Lore Book Announced
With the season ending just about a month before the launch of Dragonflight, it seems almost certain the Pre-Patch for the new World of Warcraft expansion will also begin the same day. The Dragonflight Pre-Patch will not only swap over to the new Talent Trees for its classes, but it will also likely include the UI overhaul as well. Players will be able to make their Dracthyr Evoker characters and play through the Forbidden Reach starting zone, and they can look forward to a Primalist-themed world event in the weeks leading up to launch.
If that were not evidence enough, a credible World of Warcraft leaker previously shared internal release dates for several Blizzard products, including Wrath of the Lich King Classic and Dragonflight. All the other dates on the document have been correct, and it stated October 25 as the beginning of the Dragonflight Pre-Patch. With two weeks until the date, World of Warcraft will likely make a formal announcement soon.
