World of Warcraft just announced a series of Twitch Drops would be coming alongside Dragonflight’s Pre-Patch and release over the next couple of months. The Twitch Drops were mentioned as an offhand footnote when World of Warcraft revealed the schedule for its Pre-Patch.
There are three different Twitch Drops coming to World of Warcraft in the near future. The first will take place on November 15, during the second phase of the Dragonflight Pre-Patch, when the Primal Storms event will be live and the Dracthyr will be available. The second coincides with Dragonflight’s launch on November 28, and the third with the Vault of the Incarnates raid opening on December 13.

At press time, World of Warcraft has not revealed what the rewards for these Twitch Drops will be. They will most likely be cosmetic items, such as minions or mounts. As the first Twitch Drop is in less than a month, players can expect to hear about what the rewards are, and which streams to watch to earn them, in the next few weeks.
World of Warcraft is not the only Blizzard IP participating in Twitch Drops. Overwatch 2 is currently running a Twitch Drop campaign to earn cosmetics for Kiriko, and Hearthstone has done so periodically to earn free packs during set releases and tournaments. World of Warcraft also recently concluded a cosmetics giveaway via Amazon Prime over the summer, where it gave out several crown cosmetics.
