A new day is dawning, and a new Wordle is ripe and ready for players to solve today. The July 12th word won't be putting any player's long-standing win streaks in jeopardy and should be a quick and easy win for most. Despite the simple nature, some words can get players stuck in a trap of too many answers and not enough guesses. Wordle words that end in 'ING' or 'ED' can cause lots of trouble for players as there are too many options to choose from.

Some players prefer a more difficult time in their puzzles, and for those people, Wordle has a Hard Mode that can be activated through the options menu before starting a game. This mode simply locks in previous hints and forces the player to utilize the clues given. If a letter has already been proven correct, or correct in the wrong spot, it must be used in subsequent guesses. The same with letters shown to be incorrect, they are locked out of the keyboard and players will no longer have access to them. This stops people from using different combo words just to establish a lot of information right off the bat, but can help with the number of guesses used since the game now requires more critical thinking and less guesswork.
