Wordle 307: April 22, 2022 Hints & Answer
The April 22nd Wordle is available now and today's word is an incredibly common one. Despite its perceived easiness, sometimes players can still get stuck on the game. Oftentimes, more common words create a chain reaction of other words that share the same structure, this can easily lead players into wasting guesses on words that are similar but incorrect. Words like shell, sheet, sheep, or sheer all start the same and quickly drain the number of attempts a player has.

One of the best ways to do better at the game is to turn on Wordle's Hard Mode. This is accessed through the settings menu in the top right corner of the game. Hard Mode forces players to use the hints given by not allowing letters to be reused if they have previously been proven incorrect. It also insists that a letter proven correct either stays where it is in future guesses or must be used if proven correct but in the wrong position. Despite its name, Hard Mode actually makes the game easier since it forces players into critical thinking and stops them from making random guesses to simply test another letter or two. Using this mode may take the player some extra thinking time, but can lower the number of answers taken to get a Wordle word correct.
