The Wonder Twins movie planned for HBO Max has reportedly been cancelled. In February of this year, DC and Warner Bros. green-lit a live-action movie based on The Wonder Twins, the characters introduced in the Superfriends animated series from the 1970s. The film was set to be written and directed by Adam Sztkiel, who was one of the writers of the upcoming Black Adam film, and was set to be released on the HBO Max service.

Discovery stopped developing scripted series for TNT and TBS, it is the DC Universe that is now seeing shake-ups.
