To customize your iPhone lock screen, you will need to touch and hold the Lock Screen until the Customize button appears at the button of the screen and then tap on the add new button at the bottom of the screen.
This will show the Lock Screen wallpaper gallery and then select one of the wallpaper options to select it as your Lock Screen.
Apple says that for some wallpaper choices, you can even swipe left or right to change the colour filters, patterns, and fonts that complement each other.
