Will Perfect Dark Be at The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase?
Fans of Perfect Dark have received some serious mixed messages about The Initiative's upcoming reboot in recent history. On the one hand, some evidence suggests that Perfect Dark has been playable for quite some time, meaning it'll ideally be ready for a reveal soon. On the other hand, Crystal Dynamics joining development on Perfect Dark suggests that The Initiative may need significant extra help to deliver the game. Because of that, it's been hard to predict when fans will hear more about Perfect Dark. The game's nebulous status and journey through development mean that the proper timing for a reveal is generally unclear.
There's a chance that that'll change in the near future, however. Xbox fans should mark June 12th on their calendars, because on that day, Xbox and Bethesda will run a joint showcase featuring a variety of upcoming games. The showcase's itinerary is unclear, but regardless, this seems like the ideal time to bring Perfect Dark out of the shadows and give fans a proper look at the game. The odds of that reveal remain hard to pin down, though.
