The recent addition of N64 games to Nintendo Switch Online has been met with something of a mixed reception so far from players and critics alike. On the positive side, having the luxury of being able to play so many classic games like Super Mario 64 on the go is fantastic. On the other hand, to be able to access these games, subscribers to the service need to pay an additional fee to access the content for a total of $49.99 a month through Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Many have felt this is a hefty asking price, especially for what is available at the moment.
Of course, this price point could be made more appealing if Nintendo were to balance it out with a ton of value. The N64 lineup on Nintendo Switch Online is slim right now, but more games are promised to be on the way including the acclaimed classic The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Often considered to be one of the best in the series as well as one of the best games of all time, adding this N64 masterpiece to the roster is certainly intriguing. However, there may be reason for concern that Switch Online isn't the best place for Majora's Mask.
