Miguel Gomez is exiting FBI: Most Wanted and will not be included in the upcoming season 4. Created as a spin-off of Dick Wolf's FBI, the series premiered on CBS back in January 2020 and follows the work of the Fugitive Task Force division, which tracks and captures notorious criminals on the Bureau's Most Wanted list. The show has featured a revolving cast, with its original front-runner, Julian McMahon, announcing his departure in season 3, and Dylan McDermott replacing him as the Force's leader. The show has also seen the exits of series regulars Nathanial Arcand and Kellan Lutz. Gomez entered FBI: Most Wanted in its second season, playing Ivan Ortiz, a Special Agent and former LAPD Gang Unit officer who joined the team after previously working within the Bureau's counter-terror unit.
Now, according to a report from Deadline, Miguel Gomez is leaving FBI: Most Wanted and will not appear in the show's fourth season, set to premiere next fall. While his exit is believed to be a creative decision, the recent season finale did seemingly wrap up his character's arc in a positive manner for fans, as Ivan Ortiz returned to Los Angeles to tend to his father.
