3.5’s release date is closer than ever with Version 3.4 already in its phase two. Because of the open-world RPG’s strict update calendar, it is possible to speculate on the precise date the new patch will be added and when players will be given access to the new content. This new content includes two new playable characters and, allegedly, banner reruns of a few fan-favorite heroes from Teyvat.
The exact content planned for the next update beyond the character and weapon banners will be shown in ’s livestream, on February 17. Despite the lack of an official confirmation, it is already possible to assume Version 3.5’s actual release date. This is because of ’s six-week schedule between updates, which has been followed without issues for more than six months.

If players consider that Version 3.4 was released on January 18, it is safe to assume that 3.5’s release date is in late February or early March. This is, of course, following the aforementioned six-week calendar. Developer HoYoverse’s usual weekday for updates is Wednesday, so it is likely that patch 3.5 will arrive on March 1, the Wednesday that coincides with the schedule.
This is not set in stone, however. 3.5’s release date could be delayed, for instance. Something similar happened with 2.7’s delay – the main difference, however, is that even the livestream was delayed at the time. This time around, Version 3.5’s livestream has already been confirmed, indicating that things are on track for a release without any delays.
