It’s been a great week of gaming, though it’s one that seems to have flown by as we’re back at Friday once again, with the weekend ready to unroll in front of us. I’ve played some Party Animals, Wargroove 2 and Hellboy: Web of Wyrd and I’ll be settling in for another heady mix of gaming tomorrow as well.
Aran kicks things off for us this week with EA Sports FC 24, which he says “is fine”, so that’s good? He’s also started on The Lamplighters League for review, which you’ll be hearing about next week.
This week Nick P has been back on RE4, playing the new Separate Ways DLC. He tells us, “I’m already getting my speed run times down. I’ve also been playing the new character A.K.I. In SF6, who is amazing. I finished Diablo IV, finally, and got a little bit of Dead by Daylight and FC 24 in.”
While he’s naturally been continuing his adventure through Baldur’s Gate 3, Gareth has playing [redacted] for review, which is very [redacted]-y. Whatever could that game be?
Steve has been playing Hard Mode at breathing and is on lots of exciting-looking pills at the moment – just in time for the start of academic term next week. However, he has at least been able to get some gaming time in, “I have become obsessed with Lies of P and am at the final boss but pausing for the balancing patch to hit the Xbox version. It’s hooked me like Bloodborne did, and reinforces that I really need to prioritise the original Souls games as I’ve never actually put aside the time to play them! Aside from that I had a frustrating time with the disappointing Mineko’s Night Market, compounded by a game-breaking bug, and carried on sampling the hundreds of classics on Antstream Arcade (reviews of both incoming). I’m hoping to squeeze in an Alan Wake universe
