Anyone who has played through a few hours or more of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has likely experienced a glitch or two. While Skyrim is a beloved classic of the gaming community, like other Bethesda open world games, it definitely has its fair share of bugs, glitches, and general oddities.
Some of these bugs can have major impacts on gameplay, like the Dawnbreaker duplication glitch, while others are harmless and just funny to watch. One such example is of a Khajiit contentedly swimming in a very odd place.

Redditor WWE-Fan_1999 shared a video of a Khajiit, the playable race of cat people of The Elder Scrolls, performing the swimming animation. The weird thing here is that the Khajiit is floating in mid-air over the ground. It's unclear where the Khajiit came from, and if it ever returned to the water, though the user joked in their post that the water was just behind the Khajiit. Even in a game with bugs that lead to Giants riding Dragons at random, it's definitely a peculiar sight to see.
Thankfully, this particular glitch shouldn't have any negative impact on the game, except for breaking immersion. It seems as though the game simply didn't recognize what kind of terrain the Khajiit was moving on, and incorrectly assigned a swimming animation instead of a normal walking one. While it's a bit weird, it's not the strangest thing in Skyrim, and some players have probably seen glitches like these during their time in the game world.
