Grand Theft Auto 5 is a 2013 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar Games that is still widely popular, especially after many re-releases and upgrades over the years. Though it has gone through various patches and updates, GTA 5 still has a wide array of glitches and bugs, all smaller graphical issues that don't truly break the game or affect gameplay too negatively.
Grand Theft Auto 5's visuals, quests, side missions, extra activities, characters, and environments are all very impressive, engaging, and dynamic, but the game is so vast with so many things happening at once that it is bound to have a few glitches. As long as these glitches don't completely break the game, they don't impede the player from moving forward in the story, or they don't corrupt a save file, they are basically harmless.

Redditor JamesHalloran experiences one of these glitches as they get into a collision on a motorcycle in the game. They are thrown from the motorcycle onto a curb next to a light post, and there doesn't seem to be enough space for the character to go through the getting up animation, causing the game to push the character away. This sends the player into a sort of in-between space in which the underground rooms nearby can be seen.
GTA 5's Los Santos is a busy place, with lots of people and vehicles moving around, many layers of environmental space available for the player to explore, and other events and programmed instances occurring simultaneously. So, when the right set of random events occurs in an unexpected way, glitches and bugs are bound to happen, especially after a collision that sends a player flying a longer distance.
