After carefully browsing through the endless list of components that are compatible with AMD’s previous-generation Ryzen 7 5700X3D, we are proud to bring to you one of the most affordable gaming PC bundles available during Amazon Black Friday 2024. Sure, the processor is by no means the latest and greatest, but it continues to be a solid performer for both games and productivity. Best all, the entire combo that includes the motherboard, cooler, RAM, and SSD can be yours for just $413, making it less than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D’s listing price of $459.
Our motherboard of choice for the Ryzen 7 5700X3D is the ASUS Prime B550-PLUS, which is available for $89.99 after a 25 percent discount. It became our first priority because it does not require a BIOS update to support the CPU, and it can accommodate a fast M.2 PCIe NVMe Gen 4 SSD. There is also a second M.2 PCIe NVMe slot, but it operates on the slower Gen 3 standard. Additionally, thanks to the motherboard’s larger ATX size, you have more SATA III ports, fan headers, and connectors to increase the number of accessories.
Since the Ryzen 7 5700X3D supports the older DDR4 RAM, we went with the Crucial Pro 32GB kit that operates on the 3,200MHz frequency. Given how 16GB DDR4 has become limited, you get extra freedom with 32GB of memory. As for the SSD, we included the $59.99 1TB Crucial P3 Plus, thanks to its incredible ‘price to performance ratio.’ After all, the only other affordable option that can reach 5,000MB/s speeds was the Samsung 990 EVO, with the 1TB version going for $69.99. Naturally, while offering a budget-friendly PC, we had to trim the total cost wherever we could.
Lastly, you obviously need something to tame the CPU’s temperatures, so we chose the ultra-pocket-friendly ID-COOLING SE-214-XT, which can easily tame the Ryzen 7 5700X3D’s
