When 110 Industries took to the stage at last year's Tokyo Game Show, nobody really knew quite what to expect. It soon became clear, however, that this was a publisher that was here to make a statement, with its fifty-minute presentation video kick-started by legendary game designer Yu Suzuki. By the time the video was over, three exciting new projects had been revealed, one of which was an old-school hack and slash zombie game called Wanted: Dead.
Developed by Soleil and many of the same team that worked on the Ninja Gaiden reboot titles and Dead or Alive 5, the uber-violent adventure game has been described by the publisher as a AAA love letter to the sixth generation of home consoles and has attracted plenty of attention from fans of the hack and slash genre as a result. Now, almost one full year and countless Twitter teases later, the publisher has finally revealed the game's release date, together with a brand-new trailer.

The release date trailer, which features a decent amount of gameplay footage cut together with stylish anime-style visuals and live-action shots of actress and cut-scene director Stefanie Joosten of MGS 5 fame, reveals that Wanted: Dead will be released on February 14, 2023. It will be available on both current and last-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as on PC, with the game already confirmed to be releasing through Steam in an earlier trailer.
Although it's nice to have a solid release date for the game, the news may well come as a disappointment for some eager fans. This is because Wanted: Dead had originally been slated for a release at some point during 2022, meaning that it's now joined the likes of Forspoken, Starfield, and
