Walker star Jared Padalecki has revealed that he is recovering well from a recent accident. On April 25, Padalecki’s Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles revealed at a fan convention in New Jersey that his on-screen brother couldn’t attend the event due to being injured in a car accident. Ackles explained that whilst Padalecki«wasn’t driving» at the time of the incident, he was still lucky to be alive, as the accident had been severe.
Since the accident, Padalecki has been recovering at home rather than in hospital. Whilst there were thankfully no fatalities in the crash, Ackles maintained that the incident would have been physically traumatic for his former co-star. Immediately after Ackles made his statement, Supernatural, Gilmore Girls and Walker audiences all took to social media to wish Padalecki well and expressed hope for his speedy recovery. Ackles and Padalecki are long-time friends and starred together in Supernatural for 15 seasons, playing brothers Dean and Sam Winchester. The pair recently reunited professionally when Ackles directed an episode of Padalecki's new CW seriesWalker, which is currently in season 2.
