The news comes a week before the franchise's big day, and after a fair amount of fan discontent with the series' handling by VIZ. The developments also arise after the removal of the original BLEACH series on Crunchyroll, adding more to the chagrin regarding the lack of streaming information. The series, having recently dropped an anniversary release of the original manga, has been highly anticipated since the end of the manga in August 2016.
