Despite Vikings: Valhalla yet to debut its premiere, showrunner Jeb Stuart has already begun planning multiple seasons of the upcoming historical epic. A spin-off to the popular historical drama Vikings, Vikings: Valhalla will see the show move to a new home over at streaming service Netflix. While Vikings: Valhalla will include a whole new cast, Stuart will be working with Vikings creator Michael Hirst, who will serve as executive producer in order to make the sequel show as successful as its predecessor.
Vikings: Valhalla is set a century after the events of its parent show, telling the story of a whole host of new Vikings. The show will follow some of history's most famous faces, as the Norseman look to retain their stake on the English territory they have claimed. Vikings: Vallhalla will bookend the story begun in Vikings, looking at the end of the Vikings' bloody reign. The show's expansive cast includes Laura Berlin as Emma of Normandy, Frida Gustavsson as Freydis Eriksdotter and Sam Corlett as the famed explorer Leif Erikson.
