The TV series got its first trailer in December at The Game Awards. It only had a vague 2022 date, but now it has a more specific one. The series premiere date will be March 24, 2022 on Paramount+.
As promised, the trailer with the date played during the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals AFC Championship Game. This second trailer gives a longer look at the show, which hasn’t been shown too much so far. It contains Elites, some energy swords, Cortana, and Chief himself using a big turret set to a slowed down cover version of Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight.”
Pablo Schreiber, known for, is Master Chief in the series. He is joined by other stars like Natascha McElhone () who is playing Dr. Halsey and Jen Taylor, who is reprising her role as Cortana from the game series.
Showtime, Microsoft, and 343 Industries are all producing the series alongside Steve Spielberg’s Amblin Television. Spielberg himself is executive producing along with Steven Kane, Otto Bathurst, Toby Leslie, Kyle Killen, Scott Pennington, Kiki Wolfkill, Frank O’Connor, and Bonnie Ross, the latter three of whom are from 343.
