Vampire Survivors: How to Unlock Smith IV
Smith IV, also known as Smith, is a secret playable character in Vampire Survivors whose starting weapon is the Vandalier, the union of Peachone and Ebony Wings. Described as being a «quirky white bear, » Smith starts every stage with 7 Max Health, +20% MoveSpeed, -10% Might, -10% Area, -50% Speed, -10% Duration, +10% Cooldown and +100% Luck. However, for every level, they gain 0.01 Recovery, 0.7% Might, Area, Speed, Duration, -0.25% Cooldown, and 1% Luck in Vampire Survivors.
With these scaling attributes, Smith IV is a character in Vampire Survivors that sees its max capabilities during the late-game portion of a stage, when all of its stats are increased way above their default values. Vandalier, Smith's starting weapon, is a bird that flies around the character and bombards two enemy targets with colorful projectiles. The area where these projectiles strike is split into two zones around the player. One moves clockwise, and the other rotates counterclockwise. Therefore, this weapon has a moderate range to reach mobs closing in on the player. However, one of the primary appeals of Vandalier is that it scales with all stat bonuses, making it an ideal weapon for Smith IV's scaling passive.
