Vampire Survivors, the Dead Cells-like indie pixelated roguelike, offers players eight primary characters to choose from; however, a secret ninth playable character can be unlocked through a hidden method. Typically, players will need to perform specific tasks to unlock a character. For example, fans can use 600× gold to purchase Gennaro, a fighter with an extra weapon projectile, like the Flying Swords in Dead Cells. On the other hand, the secret character, Exdash Exiviiq, requires a more obscure method for unlocking.
To unlock Exdash in Vampire Survivors, players need to open the game's main menu and input the string "x-x1viiq." Players must type quickly and ensure that other keys are untouched during this process; otherwise, Exdash will not unlock. Vampire Survivors fans will know that they've obtained the secret character successfully by an in-game chime that sounds. Next, open up the Character Selection screen to confirm that Exdash Exiviiq is there.

Exdash starts at slightly lower base stats than other characters in Vampire Survivors, but it comes with +100% Luck, allowing the blue ghost to find better chests and gather loot more efficiently. Luck also lowers the possibility that unfavorable events will occur during a run. Players need to ensure that they have the highest chance of survival in this Dead Cell-like tense and engaging adventure. Such negative occurrences include annoying swarms of bats or other hordes of challenging enemies to fend off.
Thanks to Exdash's high Luck, the character also has a higher chance of landing critical hits on enemies with the Bloody Tear or the Heaven Sword, obtained by evolving weaponry in Vampire Survivors.
