At some point, every Vampire Survivors player has wished they could increase a weapon beyond level eight or had a way to level-up evolved weapons to make them even better. As of the last update, this is now possible, but in true Vampire Survivors tradition, this ability is not just handed to the player.

This new ability to limit break weapons works exactly as players would expect it to. Instead of a choice of Floor Chicken or a Big Coin Bag, when gaining a new level, the player now has the option of improving one of their weapons. Each new level gives the player a random selection of their currently held weapons to upgrade.
To unlock the ability to limit break their weapons, players need to obtain the Great Gospel relic. Getting this relic requires surviving more than 30 minutes in the Cappella Magna stage. This stage is one of the hardest in the game, mainly because of the bosses the player will face. This stage forces the player to fight the Drowner, Stalker, and Maddener. These variants of Death are incredibly tough opponents, and, if they're not dealt with quickly, the player will be forced to take on all three of them simultaneously.
To kill these bosses quickly, the player can utilize the Rosary pickup items south of the starting point, or pick Christine, as the Pentagram can kill these three bosses in one hit. After the 30-minute mark, the player must fight the Ender. A fast-firing weapon like the Holy Wand (with the Jail of Crystal arcana) can stop the Ender in its tracks, and makes this fight much easier. However, defeating the Ender isn't necessary for obtaining the Great Gospel, with the player just needing to survive for longer than 30 minutes.
