Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has commenced the online application process for Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Exam 2022. The eligible candidates willing to apply for this post can submit the application form on the official website uppsc.up.nic.in on or before May 2, however, the last date to pay the application fee is May 17. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up as many as 44 vacancies. As per the official statement the number of vacancies can be increased or decreased depending upon the circumstances/requirement. Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not exceed the age of 40 years as on July 1, 2022.
Educational Qualification: The candidates must hold a Law Degree from any recognized University upto the last date for receipt of application. Preferences will be given to those who (1) has served for a minimum period of two years in Territorial Army or has obtained "B" certificate of N.C.C.

The UPPSC APO selection process comprises three stages - preliminary exam, mains exam and interview. It is mandatory to qualify the UPPSC APO prelims exam in order to appear for the main exam.
Unreserved/EWS/OBC category candidates are required to pay the application fee of ₹125, whereas candidates from SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman will have to pay Rs. 65.
