The joyful (and rather impressive) news was announced through the official PlayStation Twitter account. "Great news, Spidey fans -- Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has sold more than 2.5 million copies in the first 24 hours", the tweet reads. "Thanks for making this a high-flying launch!"
Not only are these impressive launch numbers, but this makes Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios title in PlayStation history.
