Ubisoft's newest game currently in development, now known as Pathfinder, could be the spiritual successor to Hyper Scape. Ubisoft Montreal's Hyper Scape is a free-to-play battle royale first-person shooter game that was released in the summer of 2020. As the title was made in partnership with the popular livestreaming platform Twitch, players could allow their viewers to tune in using a special extension. Followers were also able to interact with the battle in real-time by voting on events, ultimately having an impact on the outcome. Ubisoft addressed some of the problems and complaints that fans had with Hyper Scape's gameplay. The company even restructured the team behind the game so that they could focus on development goals. In spite of the team's dedication to addressing problems, the game will shut down this month.
