The Ubisoft+ game subscription service is heading to PlayStation(Opens in a new window), offering access to over 100 Ubisoft games, including new releases.
Ubisoft+ is already available on PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna, and Ubisoft confirmed back in January that it was also heading to Xbox platforms. However, it seems Sony is gaining a second version of Ubisoft+ called Ubisoft+ Classics, which will be offered as part of the new PlayStation Plus service. Classics is expected to become available on June 13 in the US and June 23 across Europe.
Anyone signing up for PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium tiers will be able to enjoy 27 Ubisoft+ Classics titles, which will expand to 50 titles before the end of 2022. The contrast with the full Ubisoft+ subscription is the type and amount of games being offered, with Classics limited to older titles. It's unknown if Ubisoft plans to offers Classics to Xbox owners as well.
Launch dates for Ubisoft+ on Xbox and PlayStation have yet to be revealed, but it's expected to cost $14.99 per month just like the PC version. Once signed up, you'll gain access to over 100 Ubisoft games, including new releases on launch day, premium editions of existing games, DLC packs, and a rewards system.
