Ubisoft has shown off 10 minutes of Star Wars Outlaws gameplay.
Developed by Ubisoft Massive, the game is scheduled for release in 2024 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC through Ubisoft Connect.
The gameplay shows protagonist Kay Vess sneaking through an underworld base. Kay is able to use her small alien friend Nix to solve puzzles and distract enemies. Once she’s discovered, the game shifts to a third-person action game. Players can use Nix as part of combat too.
The player is then seen escaping into the game’s open world on a speeder bike, while being pursued by raiders. Kay can slow down time while on her bike in order to take out enemies, Later in the demo, Kay is shown negotiating with an Imperial officer.
The demo concluded with the player getting in their ship and transitioning seamlessly into a space battle against the empire.
