Becoming a full-time Twitch streamer is a dream for many people these days. The appeal of being paid to play video games and chat with people all day is a strong one. You'd think once people broke into the top tiers they'd sit comfortably and not kick up a stink and ruin their livelihoods, but you'd be wrong.

Twitch streamer Greekgodx, real name Dimitri Antonatos just got hit with the ban hammer. He claims it's for twerking on stream, violating the company's sexual content policy, but some believe it's due to his extremely sexist rant, spotted by Dextero (via PCGamer).

He sent an outdated message to any women, and "especially female streamers" that wanted to date him. "If you wanna date me, even if you're streaming, you're gonna have to stop streaming. Your career is done. I will stream while you cook for me and you clean for me and you look after the children while I gain all the money and I give it to you."

For some reason, he hasn't considered that by combining him and his future partner's income streams they could simply hire a personal chef, cleaner, and nanny to do all of the work he expects the partner to do instead. He claims it's "called working together," only the woman performs free household labour in exchange for room and board while he works for money he can spend how he chooses.

It's a deeply sexist notion of what a relationship should be that essentially leaves women dependent on male earners. If he were to get banned again and had forced his partner to stop streaming, they'd be completely without income, something he doesn't seem to have thought of.
