As seen by PCGamesN, a user on Reddit uploaded a screenshot from Minecraft which shows a material reducer. Inside, they've placed a redstone block, which shows that it's made up of a number of different elements. One of the interesting discoveries is that the item appears to be made of carbon, an unknown substance, and also uranium. It's this latter part that suggests redstone is actually radioactive. To some in the comments, it makes sense. One person said that it being radioactive is probably not too surprising, given how it «constantly outputs power.»
