Ahead of its March 4 launch, Square Enix has announced a free demo for Triangle Strategy during the first Nintendo Direct of 2022. New footage of the game was shown off, too, but perhaps the more exciting news is that a demo is launching today, February 8. The demo lets you play up to the end of Chapter 3.
Progress from the demo will carry forward to the full game when it launches.
Over the past few months, developers Square Enix and Artdink have released three Triangle Strategy trailers that go over the backstories of the game's three heroes: Benedict Pascal, Roland Glenbrook, and Frederica Aesfrost. The three find themselves needing to navigate the escalating conflict between three separate countries, all of which seem poised to go to war.
The team behind Triangle Strategy is being led by Square Enix producer Tomoya Asano--previously the producer for all three Bravely Default games and Octopath Traveler. Triangle Strategy features turn-based tactical battles.
Triangle Strategy is set to launch exclusively for Switch.
