If you've not given it a glance yet in this chapter, you'll find that the merchant's got some new wares in stock including the first appearance of Quality-level materials. These are required to learn rank 2 weapon abilities. The silver you (hopefully) found in Chapter Seven, Part One's exploration phase can be put to good use now to unlock a rank 2 weapon. We recommend you use this first one on Serenoa, but there's no wrong answer.
