Nowadays, he may not be the biggest anime in music, but there are plenty of reasons why the legendary Kenny Loggins might be forever etched in the minds of movie fans and gamers alike. Now, it seems like the musician would really love to have another go at his DJ gig in Grand Theft Auto 6.
Loggins appeared in Grand Theft Auto5 in 2013 as the voice behind Los Santos Rock Radio, a perennial favorite of GTA players and the station that features several classics from the '70s and '80s, including his Top Gun banger “Danger Zone.” It was while promoting the digital release of the sequel to that movie, Top Gun: Maverick, when Loggins caught up with ComicBook.com to address his willingness to return as the curator of '70s and '80s rock for GTA 6 if given the opportunity.

Speaking on whether he’d reprise his role, Loggins said, «I hope so! It was just a lot of fun.” He also commented that he was initially hesitant to take the job because he wasn’t familiar with the GTA franchise and was worried about the perceived negativity of video game violence that surrounds Rockstar's biggest IP. Nevertheless, he claims it was actually his children who convinced him to land in Los Santos, explaining, “They said 'Dad, it doesn't matter. It's inextricable from the social phenomenons [sic] that are happening now. This is part of social history.» Loggins added that he loves the hilarious and smart writing in the games.
