It's hard to quantify the impact that Fortnite has had on the video games industry. It's one of the few modern games that have transcended gaming culture and has made it into general pop culture. Within the industry itself, it – along with PUBG – inspired a deluge of battle Royale games, many of which have not stood the test of time.
It has also made stars out of many of the game's biggest streamers. The likes of Ninja and Shroud became household names, as the game played a big part in the streamer phenomenon. However, it seems that some of the big names that have been created by games like Fortnite will be teaming up to create their own battle royale.

SypherPK, CourageJD, Ninja, Nickmercs, and TimtheTatman have banded together to create a new battle royale game. It's not like they're leaving Fortnite behind or anything, as the entire thing will be based on the Unreal Editor for Fortnite. No other details have been provided about this game, except that its development title is Project V and it will launch sometime in 2024.
"With the launch of Unreal Editor for Fortnite in March 2023, it sparked inspiration in all of us," says the website of the project. "Immediately, we huddled together to brainstorm and all came to the same conclusion: let's create our own Battle Royale with the power of UEFN."
