Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has only been out for a few days, and yet it has fans of the Borderlands games once again loving the stylized looter shooter. With a theme based around fantasy rather than the sci-fi settings Borderlands games are traditionally known for, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands does offer plenty of new elements for fans of the franchise, from new classes that focus on melee and a more traditional Borderlands style of gameplay to a character creator that marks a first for the series.
Though there are plenty of new additions to Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, the game does have plenty of recognizable features for Borderlands fans. The graphics, gameplay, and writing are all what a Borderlands fan would expect of another entry into the series. Alongside these more general features, though, there are also plenty of easter eggs for fans to find and the return of SHiFT codes allowing Tiny Tina's Wonderlands players to get free loot.

Easter eggs are a traditional feature of any Borderlands title, with the games often looking to reference other popular media in the easter eggs they provide, such as a Smurfs Easter egg in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and a Rick and Morty easter egg in Borderlands 3. One Tiny Tina's Wonderland player has stumbled on something a little different than a reference to another IP. In the Brighthoof area of the map, Reddit user Chimichangas823 found a wholesome easter egg featuring all the Gearbox developers.
