THQ Nordic
THQ Nordic will be hosting a digital showcase on Friday, August 12.
The virtual show will be livestreamed on YouTube, Twitch, and Steam at 9pm CEST (12am PDT | 3pm EDT | 8pm BST | 10pm EEST).
In the video unveiling the event, TGQ showcased some of its portfolio, with a separate 'Save the Date' announcement saying the publisher will be "providing updates on games like Outcast 2 - A New Beginning and Jagged Alliance 3" and "present several, brand new games."
It's the second year running THQ Nordic organises a digital showcase. There once again will be a pre-show with games from its sister company HandyGames.
This follows news of E3 cancelling both its in-person edition back in January and its digital counterpart last week.
This has sparked debates, including on GamesIndustry.biz, about whether this is the end of E3, as it faces new competition such as the Summer Games Fest and individual showcases from studios and publishers, an identity crisis, and uncertainty around physical events.
