Thomas Jane Must Save His Daughter In Dig Trailer [EXCLUSIVE]
Screen Rant is proud to exclusively present a first look at the trailer for the upcoming film Dig, in theaters, digital & On Demand September 23. Distributed in North America by Saban Films, the new hostage thriller was penned by Banipal Ablakhad and Benhur Ablakhad as their feature film debut. It holds the distinct honor of not only featuring prolific star Thomas Jane (beloved for The Expanse, The Predator, The Mist and more), but also his daughter Harlow Jane.
Directed by K. Asher Levin, Dig centers on a widowed father (played by Thomas Jane) who works in construction and brings his daughter (naturally played by Harlow Jane) to a home demolition. But when they arrive at the designated spot, they are instead tied up and taken hostage by a villainous couple portrayed by Emile Hirsch (Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans) and Liana Liberato (Light as a Feather).

Screen Rant's exclusive first look at the Dig trailer was provided by Saban Films in conjunction with their studio partner, Lionsgate. The story starts with a job that apparently needs some quick turnaround, which Thomas Jane's hero must take in order to afford a procedure to help his daughter's hearing. The heartwarming father-daughter moment is cut terribly short when the kidnappers of the piece show up, however, and the true action thriller nature of the film is revealed.
