Netflix has revealed the official synopsis for The Witcher season 3, revealing that Ciri will train with Yennefer at Aretuza. The Witcher has been one of the biggest series for the streaming giant Netflix, in both scope and popularity. Based on a series of books of the same name by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, the fantasy show follows the stoic anti-hero Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill) in the monster-hunting Witcher profession. Enhanced by potions that imbue him with supernatural powers and a long life, Geralt travels the land, assisting those in need of monster killing. He is soon joined by his lively bard friend, Jaskier (Joey Batey), and Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra), a sorceress of immense power and Geralt's love interest.
The Witcher season 2 had Geralt finally unite with Princess Cirilla «Ciri» (Freya Allen) and take her to safety within the Witcher stronghold of Kaer Morhen. There, Ciri begins her training under the watchful eye of Vesemir (Kim Bodnia), the oldest living Witcher. After an attack at Kaer Morhen with a possessed Ciri killing other Witchers, as well as learning of the mysterious and powerful Wild Hunt who are tracking Ciri, Geralt deems the old stronghold no longer safe.
