The Witcher: Blood Origin, prequel to The Witcher, has wrapped filming with showrunner Declan de Barra tweeting out a behind-the-scenes picture with the news. The spinoff was announced as a six-part limited series set to star Sophia Brown and Michelle Yeoh. The show, like its parent series, is based on The Witcher novels by Andrzej Sapkowski, a series of nine books published between 1986 and 2013 in Poland.
