Not only is it one of the greatest memes of all time, but now the famous “Steamed Hams” scene from The Simpsons has become a video game. Steamed Hams: The Graphic Adventure is an unofficial fan game created by NeoDement that manages to truly make a player feel as if they're part of the show.
Steamed Hams, as it's known, is a scene from Season 7, Episode 21 of The Simpsons, known as ‘22 Short Films About Springfield’. The scene features Principal Skinner inviting Superintendent Chalmers over for a dinner of baked clams before things go disastrously. Skinner is trying hard to impress his boss but keeps messing up, burning the meal and then telling increasingly ridiculous lies to get away with it. Fortunately, Chalmers is fairly gullible and believes Skinner when he says that the replacement Krusty Burgers he ran out the window to purchase were called ‘steamed hams’. It's absurd and rife for memes, and this is why it works so well as a game — even if the creators of The Simpsons seem confused about the scene's enduring popularity.

The game is playable online right in a browser or as a download over at Game Jolt.
