Towards the end of last year a new chunk of DLC launched for the home versions of Dead Cells. It was called The Queen and the Sea, and we were pretty sure it was going to come to Android at some point, we just didn’t know when.
And now we sort of know when, because Playdigious has announced on Twitter that the new content will be coming to Android this spring. Which is pretty soon.
The DLC adds two new biomes to the game, as well as an alternate ending. Here’s a trailer that’s full of spooks and gloom. Yeah, that’s right – spooks and gloom.
Alongside the new content, the mobile versions of the game will also be getting the Everyone is Here and Practice Makes Perfect updates, bringing it bang up to date with the home versions of Dead Cells.
Those two will be free, while The Queen and the Sea will be paid. It’s $4.99 on other platforms, and we expect it to be something similar when it lands for Android.
If you haven’t given the mobile version of Dead Cells a go yet, you can click here to download it from the Play Store. It’s one of those sweet, sweet premium experiences.
