Released today by Prime Video, the trailer for The Outlaws Season 2 opens with Greg (Merchant) recapping the mayhem of Season 1. The gang now finds itself indebted to the owner of the bag of money they took, who happens to be the unforgiving London drug overlord known as The Dean (Claes Bang). He’s given them eight weeks to return the money. With their lives on the line, the blundering offenders are unwittingly pulled back into their lawbreaking ways to recover the money and avoid being knocked off.

The clip sees the group banded together after the events of Season 1, but luckily, they are no less amusingly offbeat and messy: Frank tries to infiltrate The Dean’s goonies by assuming his clumsy gangster persona, Al Fastelli, and they consider the likelihood that they’ll be killed by the drug ring and buried in a desert (even though, as Myrna (Clare Perkins) reminds everyone, there are no deserts in England). Whether or not it works out for them will be revealed when Season 2 of The Outlawsstreams on Prime Video on August 5.
