The adorable Minions return to the big screen with Illumination's Minions: Rise of Grureleasing soon. Steve Carrell will be voicing the character of Gru once again, and with The Office being one of his most successful projects on the small screen, the perfect crossover between both platforms has been revealed to mark the release of the upcoming film.
The social media account for The Office shared the crossover video, which transforms the introduction segment of the popular series into the land of the Minions. The iconic Scranton office from the US version of The Office is filled with some energetic yellow creatures, with Gru acting as the manager and running meetings. The fun remake video is loaded with Easter Eggs from both projects that fans will recognize instantly.

The video follows the same format as the original The Office opening credits, with the Minions replacing the show’s main characters. The animation is added onto the original video, which makes for an interesting watch. The video begins with the immediately recognizable music from the opening, and Gru's logo now sits on top of the Dunder Mifflin building, which is now called the Dunder Minion Evil Company. A minion is seen spray-painting a banana onto the Scranton sign, while a bunch of minion workers arrive at the office. The scenes that follow are almost exact replicas of the original opening, with the closeup shot of someone scanning documents, an individual using a calculator, and some classic office gossip around the water cooler.
