The Masked Singer is gearing up for season 7, and the show gave fans the inside scoop by airing the season's first performance during a sneak peek on Fox. The Masked Singer season 7 premieres on March 9th, and while fans typically have to wait until the end of episode one for a contestant to be revealed, this time the show caused quite the controversy when it was reported former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani was inside one of the costumes. While it hasn't been revealed which costume he's in, fans do know that upon his reveal, panelists Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong quickly walked off stage in protest.
The upcoming season is switching up its format once again with three groups of contestants – the good, the bad, and the cuddly. Whether or not fans approve, Giuliani seemingly fits perfectly into one of these groups. The Masked Singer has been revealing costumes on Twitter, but during the sneak peek, fans finally got to see every outlandish character that will be performing on the show. Baby Mammoth, Queen Cobra, and Firefly are just three of ten contestants in the new season. Each contestant also revealed one clue image, including Wizard of Oz-esque ruby slippers and an image of Dwayne «The Rock» Johnson.
