The Last Of Us Set Photos Show Sniper Sequence And Firefly Hospital

New set photos from HBO's The Last of Us show the Firefly hospital and what looks like the sniper sequence with Henry and Sam.

Although we've only had one official image from HBO's The Last of Us so far, we've managed to see a fair bit of behind the scenes footage that gives us a good idea of what to expect when the show releases. So far we've seen clips that replicate the hunter ambush near the middle of the game, shots of Sam and Henry running with Joel and Ellie, and what looks to be an abandoned shopping mall that might hint towards Left Behind content.

Now, we're getting to see scenes both close to the start of the game and right near the end. The first new set photos that have been shared are from Calgary and show an abandoned town full of destroyed cars and dilapidated houses. The tall building at the end of the street and the numerous cars dotted around the area make it pretty clear that this set is recreating the scene in the game where Joel has to take down a sniper and then defend Ellie, Sam, and Henry from an attack.

Next up, we have set photos that seem to show the Firefly hospital from the end of the game. There's not as much to dissect here as it's basically just a run-down hospital, but both set photos are seriously impressive and instantly call to mind the scenes from the game that they're based on.

Although it might be easy to assume that The Last of Us is nearing the end of its production because the team is now on the final level of the game, that's not really a safe bet at all. Not only do we not know for sure that the hospital is the same from the final level, but we also don't know if the scenes are being filmed
