A player has spotted a violent detail in The Last of Us Part 1, as pieces of a smashed bottle can be seen lodged in an enemy NPC's face. According to the player, they threw a glass bottle at the enemy NPC's head earlier in the game before grappling him and noticing the impressive detail. It is one of many improvements The Last of Us Part 1 features when compared to the original version.
Back in 2013, the original version ofThe Last of Us hit store shelves and digital storefronts worldwide. The game was a massive critical and financial success for developer Naughty Dog, currently holding a 95 Metacritic score and selling over 20 million copies as of 2019. A remake titled The Last Of Us Part 1 was revealed to be in development in the spring of 2021 before being released earlier this year. The game likewise was well reviewed by critics and currently holds an 89 Metacritic score for the PlayStation 5.

Whether the game qualifies as a remake or a remaster, it did make some significant improvements to the original version. The Last Of Us Part 1 noticeably improves graphics, the frame rate, enemy AI, audio, and gameplay. In a recent post, Twitter user Rad Dad Redemption noticed the new detail when it came to combat, and pointed out the previously mentioned glass shards. The user couldn't help but be impressed at the new detail.
